The complex works conducted by Turkmen geologists on a giant Southern Yoloten-Osman field allow to more accurately reveal the enormous hydrocarbon potential, which Turkmenistan resources contain, Turkmengeologia State Corporation reported.
It is reported that as a result of complex work and detailed computer processing of information received, accurate geological and geophysical model of the gas layers of the Southern Yoloten-Osman field has been created.
"This allowed the Turkmen geologists to conduct a more accurate assessment of the geological resource potential of the field. Thus, according to C1 category, the potential evaluation of Southern Yoloten-Osman field is 9.985 trillion cubic meters, category C2 - 11.055 trillion cubic meters, a total of more than 21 trillion cubic meters of gas," said the report.
