The Batumi Oil Terminal, owned by the Kazakh "Kazmunaigas", plans to transship more than 5.5 million tons of oil cargo, a source in terminal told Trend.
"More than 5.5 million tons of oil and oil products are planned to be transshipped in 2011," the source said.
He said over 2.57 million tons of oil and oil products were transshipped in the first half-year compared to about 3.35 million tons during the same period of 2010.
As terminal reported, a decline in total transshipment volume is due to general changes on the transportation market and specific reasons. Part of "Tengizchevroil"oil volumes was directed to the Kulevi terminal of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR).
Batumi Oil Terminal is a 100-perecent property of "Kazmunaigas" company.
