The volume of gas produced in Azerbaijan amounted to more than 3.51 billion cubic meters in January 2021, Trend reports citing a report of the country’s State Statistical Committee.
As reported, 2.6 billion cubic meters out of the total volume of the produced gas is commercial gas.
On an annualized basis, these indicators increased by 0.6 percent and 7.9 percent, respectively.
During the mentioned month, oil and gas condensate was produced by nearly 3.08 million tons, which is 3.9 percent less than in 2020, said the report.
As of February 1, 2021, the stock of finished oil products amounted to 471,600 tons.
In 2020, Azerbaijan produced gas in a volume of over 36.7 billion cubic meters, including 26.06 billion cubic meters of commercial gas. In annual terms, these figures rose by 3.1 percent and 6.3 percent, respectively.
Last year, the volume of oil and gas condensate production totaled almost 34.5 million tons, which is 7.8 percent less compared to the preceding year.
