Several contracts signed in Iran’s oil sector

Four contracts were signed between the Iranian Non-Governmental Oil Industry Research and Technology Foundation and other companies in the oil sector today on Apr. 12, Trend reports citing the Shana news agency.

The Non-Governmental Oil Industry Research and Technology Foundation has officially launched in Iran today. The event was attended by the Iranian Oil Minister and other officials. The Iranian Oil Minister Bijan Zanganeh and other officials attended the event dedicated in this regard.

The Non-Governmental Oil Industry Research and Technology Foundation and Parsian Technology Group have signed a contract on the guaranteed purchase of 10 ESP pumps.

Also, a contract was signed between the foundation, Parsian Technology Group and Asmary Field Services Company for the guaranteed purchase of 30 PDC drill cutters.

Moreover, the foundation has signed a contract on artificial intelligence in the field of Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) with Faradid Payesh System Company. The foundation also signed a contract with Aban Smart System Company in the field of electro-oxidation.

According to the report, the Non-Governmental Oil Industry Research and Technology Foundation has allocated a total of 20 trillion rials (about $476 million) for startups. About 1 trillion rials (about $23.8 million) were paid to startup companies as a guarantee.

In addition, a tripartite financial agreement was signed between the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC), the Non-Governmental Oil Industry Research and Technology Foundation and the Tejarat Bank Iran in order to support startups.

Reportedly, the Iranian Non-Governmental Oil Industry Research and Technology Foundation was established last year with the participation of 12 shareholders in the oil sector. The foundation provides financial services to startups and technology companies in the oil industry.
