The world’s top 10 gas exporters have decreased supplies by 1.7 percent in 2020 year-on-year, Trend reports with reference to Italian Eni company.
The world’s 10 largest gas exporters in 2020 are Russia with 228.22 billion cubic meters, US with 147.23 billion cubic meters, Qatar with 131.05 billion cubic meters, Norway with 108.62 billion cubic meters, Australia with 107.77 billion cubic meters, Canada with 69.55 billion cubic meters, Turkmenistan with 52.78 billion cubic meters, Algeria with 40.18 billion cubic meters, Netherlands with 33.32 billion cubic meters and Malaysia with 30.72 billion cubic meters.
Only the US, Qatar and Australia boosted their gas exports in 2020 as compared to 2019.
Eni data shows that top 10 has boosted gas exports by 3.3 percent from 2010 to 2020.
The total world gas exports dropped from 1.230 trillion cubic meters to 1.213 billion cubic meters in 2020 year-on-year or by 1.4 percent and grew by 2.4 percent between 2010 and 2020.
