Iran’s Oil Ministry and Academic Center for Education, Culture and Research sign agreements

The Iranian Oil Ministry and Academic Center for Education, Culture and Research signed two contracts and two cooperation agreements in various fields in the oil-gas sector on December 27, 2021, Trend reports citing Shana News Agency.

According to the report, the contracts and agreements were signed by Iranian Oil Minister Javad Owji and Director of Iran's Academic Center for Education, Culture and Research Hamid Reza Tayyebi.

The agreements were signed on the overhaul of drilling rigs, provision of spare parts, as well as, provision of consulting services for the release of industrial waste into the environment at the Qeshm oil production facility using biological methods in accordance with Iranian national standards.

In addition, Iran’s Petroleum Engineering and Development Company (PEDEC) and the Academic Center for Education, Culture and Research signed have signed a contract on the rapid installation of necessary equipment for oil refinery and crude oil refining. The contract is worth $71 million and is valid for 4 years and 3 months.

At the same time, the Academic Center for Education, Culture, and Research also signed a contract with the Equipment Manufacturing and Supplying Department of the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC).

Under the contract, 59 special pipe heads and coils will be manufactured and supplied. The contract is worth about 5 million euros and is valid for 2 years.
