BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 10. The production of Iran’s Ilam Gas Refining Company in the Ilam Province (western Iran) increased by 59 percent, during the first three months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through June 21, 2022), compared to the same period last Iranian year, the Executive Director of the company, Rouhollah Nourian said, Trend reports citing Shana News Agency.
“Within 3 months, the company produced 446 million cubic meters of methane gas and transferred it to the country's gas network. This is 10 percent more than the same period last Iranian year,” Nourian said.
In addition, the Ilam Gas Refining Company produced and exported 34,000 tons of ethane gas for the reporting period, which is an increase of 104 percent compared to the same period last Iranian year, he added.
According to Nourian, in 3 months, the company also produced 13,400 tons of sulfur and more than 339,000 tons of gas condensate.
