BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 9. Greece, Singapore, Indonesia and France resumed the import of Azerbaijani oil In from January through April 2023, Trend reports.

In total, these countries imported about 675.2 million tons of oil worth more than $429.2 million. The import of Azerbaijani oil by these countries accounts for 7.3 percent of the total export of raw materials from Azerbaijan in quantitative terms, while in monetary terms - 7.5 percent.

Greece imported almost 300,000 tons of crude oil and petroleum products, Singapore - over 138.3 million tons, Indonesia - over 128.1 million tons and France - over 108.8 million tons from January through April 2023.

In terms of value, Greece purchased more than $190.1 million worth of Azerbaijani oil, Singapore - $87.7 million, Indonesia - more than $85 million and France - more than $66.3 million.

Azerbaijan exported about 9.2 million tons of oil and petroleum products in general from January through April 2023, which is 2.6 percent less than in the previous year (9.5 million tons). The total value of oil exports amounted to more than $5.7 billion, which is 12.7 percent or $829.5 million less than from January through April 2022.
