SOCAR Plans to accomplish drilling of the new well on the Neft Dashlari oil field at the year-end or early in 2006. The geologists analyze the data, obtained from the new well в"-2312 on the Neft Dashlari oil field, SOCAR told Trend. The well’s design depth is 2900 meters and the operations are currently being conducted at the depth of 2740 meters.
From April 2005, SOCAR faced problems while drilling wells. The reason is non-discovery of hydrocarbon deposits at the forecasted depth. The SOCAR geologists are currently researching the well. About 40 tons of oil daily have been planned to produce from the well. Drilling works are performed by the Off-shore department for drilling and exploration works “Bayil Limani”.
