Gas Supply to Regions Resumes Only After Full Payment or Regions Heads` Obligations` Undertaking

Today the supplying of gas to 30 districts of the country has been stopped. 23 districts from which remains without gas completely and 7 districts are supplied by gas partially, Azerigas CJSC told Trend. Today the gas supplying has totally been stopped to the following districts: Gobustan, Samukh, Yevlakh, Ali-Bayramli, Neftchala and other ones.

According to Azerigas these measures are taken to raise the percentage of takings among consumers out of the supplied gas. That was one of the items considered at the meeting held by President Ilham Aliyev on the results of the government activity in the first six months.

According to Azerigas representatives, today an average percentage of takings makes up 30 per cent. They say that the only conditions to resume the gas supply is either the full payment of the gas supplied in July or the letter-obligation from Heads of Executive Powers of these districts to the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan Republic on paying back of all supplied gas within a certain period of time.
