Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend / On 28 June the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, signed an order making amendments and annexes to the 2007 budget of the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan Republic (SOFAZ) which had been confirmed by 28 December 2006 order of the State Head, official press reports. The amendments are linked with the expenditures of the Fund which were increased from AZN 977 mln to AZN 1 bln 115 mln. The expenditures were increased due to AZN 50 mln presented as part of Azerbaijan's State credit for Georgia for the construction of the Georgian section of Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway, as well as AZN 88.5 mln to be repaid to the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic from its share in the contract on development of the block of Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli fields.
