Tegeta Motors opens new regional center in Georgia

A new regional service center of Tegeta Motors (car parts manufacturer, importer of vehicles from abroad) was opened in Georgian Adjara, Trend reports with reference to commersant.ge.

The new service center was opened with the support of TBC Bank.

The center is equipped with the latest automotive technology and will serve both light and heavy vehicles, as well as special equipment. This branch is the largest service center of Tegeta Motors in Georgia. The company has invested 20 million lari in the project and more than 200 local residents will work there.

“ Over the past few years, the company has successfully implemented many important projects. TBC Bank and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) made a significant contribution to the successful implementation of the project,” said Avtandil Tsereteli, CEO of Tegeta Motors.

According to Goga Tkhelidze, Deputy CEO of TBC Bank, the improvement of the investment environment in Adjara is one of the bank’s priorities. In this region, the banking portfolio amounts to 460 million lari, while financing over the last year has increased by 72 percent.

The new branch consists of 45 service areas and more than 200 vehicles will be serviced daily. The branch also has car dealership and an automated testing training center.

At the opening of the branch, an automobile exhibition was organized, where leading world brands were represented - Porsche, Volvo, Toyota, Mazda, Bridgestone, Michelin, Shell, Mobil and others.

Tegeta Group and TBC Bank have been cooperating for over 20 years. With the support of TBC Capital in 2019, Tegeta received 30 million bonds, which is the largest transaction in the Bank’s corporate lending segment in 2019.
