The GDP of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan increased from January through May 2021, Trend reports citing the report of Nakhchivan’s State Statistical Committee.
According to the report, this indicator reached 1.02 million manat ($600,000), thus growing by 0.4 percent compared to the same period of 2020.
In the first five months of 2021, Nakhchivan's GDP per capita in the autonomous republic amounted to 2,218.9 manat ($1,305.2, rise of 1.3 percent on annual basis).
In 2020, Nakhchivan's GDP amounted to 2.9 billion manat ($1.7 billion), which is 1.1 percent more compared to 2019.
