Cost of paid services to population in Azerbaijan’s Baku city decreases

The cost of paid services rendered to the population in Azerbaijan's Baku city decreased by 0.5 percent from January through May 2021 compared to the same period of 2020, Trend reports referring to the Baku City Statistics Department.

According to the Baku City Statistics Department, the value of paid services exceeded 1.8 billion manat ($1.05 billion).

Legal entities rendered the services to the population in the amount of 1.1 billion manat ($647 million), which is by 63.6 percent of the total cost of all rendered services.

The average monthly nominal salary of employees in Baku amounted to 944.6 manat ($555.6), having decreased by 5.9 percent on an annualized basis.

According to the Baku City Statistics Department, the cost of paid services rendered to the population in Baku amounted to 4.3 billion manat ($2.5 billion) in 2020, which is 29.6 percent less compared to 2019.
