Details of Iran’s foreign debts announced

Iran's foreign debts amounted to $8.74 billion from the beginning of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2021) to the end of the 3rd month of the current Iranian year (June 22, 2021), Trend reports citing the statistics of Central Bank of Iran.

According to the statistics, of Iran's debt, $2.01 billion is short-term and $6.73 billion is long-term.

In terms of euro, Iran's foreign debt amounted to 7.37 billion euro within the mentioned period. Of this, 1.69 billion euro is short-term debt and 5.67 billion euro is long-term debt, the statistics said.

“During the three months, Iran's exports amounted to 29.9 million tons worth $10.6 billion, while imports amounted to 8.54 million tons worth $10.4 billion,” the statistics said.
