BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 15. The amount of loans issued by Post Bank of Iran increased by 89 percent, during the first nine months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through December 21, 2022), compared to the same period last Iranian year, Trend reports referring the bank’s website.
Within 9 months, the bank provided loans worth about 273 trillion rials (about $6.5 billion), while in the same period last Iranian year, the figure stood at 144 trillion rials (about $3.43 billion).
The Post Bank of Iran mainly provided loans worth approximately 168 trillion rials (about $3.4 billion) in services and technology sectors, 73.3 trillion rials (about $1.74 billion) in trade and agriculture sectors, as well as 26.8 trillion rials (about $638 million) in industry and mining sectors, and 1.5 trillion rials (about 35 million) in the construction sector.
