BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 24. Total assets of Azerbaijan's AccessBank increased by 25.39 percent in the fourth quarter of 2022 compared to the same period of 2021, Trend reports referring to the bank's balance sheet.
According to the sheet report, the bank's total assets made up 1.168 billion manat ($686.07 million), up by 236.7 million manat ($139.03 million) year over year. Out of gross assets, 69.6 percent fell on the loan portfolio, growing by 28.63 percent and reaching 813.5 million manat ($477.8 million).
Following the results of the 2022 fourth quarter, investments in securities (93.36 million manat, or $54.8 million) accounted for 7.98 percent of AccessBank's total assets.
Meanwhile, 13.04 percent of the bank's assets fell on cash and cash equivalents, totaling 152.4 million manat ($89.5 million).
Other assets of the bank amounted to 18.3 million manat ($10.7 million) in the reporting period.
