Azerbaijan, Baku, 13 March /corr. Trend S.Babayeva / The number of subscribers of Azerbaijan's leading mobile operator, Azercell Telecom, has exceeded 3.1mln, the Company's President, Halem Ates, said on 13 March.
"We are not going to stop on these achievements. Our goal is to permanently move forward and suggest advanced technology to the subscribers. Therefore, we are confident that the number of subscribers putting their trust in us will continue to grow," he said.
In 2006 the number of Azercell's subscribers reached 2mln and at the end of 2007 their number increased to 3mln.
Today Azercell Telecom awarded a Toyota RAV4 to its three-millionth subscriber, Rafael Gurbanov.
Azercell Telecom is the biggest GSM standard mobile operator in Azerbaijan.
