Azerbaijani and Iranian GSM operators work over equal use of frequency resources

Azerbaijani and Iranian mobile operators operate on equal distribution of frequency resources according to the bilateral agreement on coordination of GSM-frequencies on border areas signed in June, Chief Adviser of Telecommunications Department of Communication and IT Ministry, Gulam Abdullayev, told Trend .
Abdullayev said that Azerbaijan has similar agreements with Russia and Georgia. The main goal is to eliminate crossings of frequencies and ensure normal functioning of mobile communication at border areas. Thus, specific frequency resources are determined for GSM operators in the border areas. They will not be used by another party.
