Ericsson company is negotiating with the Azerbaijani mobile operators to supply LTE equipment to deploy the third-generation networks, First Executive Vice President of Ericsson company Hans Vestberg told journalists.

It all depends on the issue on cellular network operators' receiving the licenses to provide services in the 3G standard. The company intends to cooperate in this sphere with all three players of the Azerbaijani mobile communication market, Vestberg said.

The main rest in cooperation with Azerbaijan's telecommunication operators will be made on technology and broadband access equipment.

"At present, the Azerbaijani government is considering our proposal, which mainly aims at developing broadband Internet access. At present, establishment of the relevant structure, particularly, the construction of fiber-optic lines is still being regarded, and then the building of a mobile Data network, in which we will provide all possible assistance, will be one of the priorities," Vestberg added.

Being a leader in mobile broadband technology, Ericsson has a unique experience in this area and offers a comprehensive solution to offer mobile broadband access for PCs and portable devices. The company is the world's largest supplier of technology solutions and professional services to telecom operators.
