By Huseyn Veliyev - Trend:

Azerbaijani "mobile health system" technology will be used in the "Buyuk Aile" project, implemented by the Turkish "Sakarya" University for Turkish secondary education institutions, a source close to the project told Trend Aug. 16.

The system is currently being tested and the pilot launch of the project has been scheduled for mid-September, when classes will begin in schools, the source told Trend.

""Buyuk Aile" project is aimed at the development of human resources beginning from the secondary school. Special attention in this endeavor will be paid to the health of the younger generation, for which the "Health" module will be used, an integral part of which will be "mobile health system". In the near future, the "Buyuk Aile" project will be presented to the president of Turkey," the source said.

The "mobile health system" platform, the purpose of which is to habituate people to a healthy lifestyle, allows for undergoing a medical survey. The results of the survey are sent to the e-mail address and to mobile phone by SMS. All survey data is automatically recorded in the user account. The user can view the results of the surveys in graphs through personal account. Statistics of the results of the undergone surveys allow for taking necessary measures in advance to prevent possible health problems.

As necessary, the user is sent recommendations on when to be examined by a doctor, on which days he should be careful, etc.

Technically, the system is based on a mobile health station and an Internet portal. Using a mobile station, the user can take readings on 48 different parameters of the body. Access to the portal allows for monitoring current indicators, as well as for comparing them with previous ones, which helps to eliminate possible risks, anticipate and prevent them by taking the necessary prompt measures.
