Azerbaijan's Azexport website is pushing the country's product for export through an online e-commerce platform, Trend reports referring to the Azerbaijani Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication.
The volume of the export orders from the website since 2017 through 2019 has reached $1.5 billion.
To date, Azexport website has received more than 35,000 orders from 150 countries. The exporters gained access to 54 new countries through the Free Sales Certificate of the website.
The Azexport website (www.azexport.az) was created in accordance with the decree of the head of state “On creating a unified database of goods manufactured in Azerbaijan” dated Sept. 21, 2016.
The goal of the website, which is managed by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication, is to provide information about the Made in Azerbaijan products and to create a viable platform for their sale on foreign and domestic markets.
Azexport renders state support to the exporters in the fields of transport, logistics, payment and certification.
The World SME Forum and the Azerbaijani Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to disseminate the experience of Azexport in other countries.
