Average downloads speed in Azerbaijan reduce

The average speed of downloads both for mobile, and broadband Internet in Azerbaijan made up 31.44 Mbit/s in December 2020, Trend reports referring to data of Ookla (US company).

According to the company, in the reporting month, the speed of data downloads via fixed broadband access (FBA) decreased by 0.04 percent compared to November last year.

Meanwhile, the speed of the Internet on the mobile network decreased by 5.3 percent, to 15.02 Mbit/s.

In general, from November through December 2020 the speeds of downloads of broadband and mobile networks amounted to 47.2 Mbit/s and 12.67 Mbit/s respectively.

According to the rating, in December, the speed of incoming broadband Internet traffic in Azerbaijan was 22.17 Mbit/s, and the speed of outgoing - 24.21 Mbit /s, thus decreasing by 3.8 and 5.4 percent respectively compared to the previous month.
