The digital trade hub of Azerbaijan attracts investments in the project by introducing new technologies, Trend reports, referring to the statement of the head of the Digital Trade Hub of Azerbaijan project Masuma Talibova.

The expansion of cooperation with international organizations in the field of e-commerce contributes to attracting more participants to the project, as well as investors, she said.

“In countries with a developed digital infrastructure investment indicators are twice as high, that means, investors put their funds in countries with the highest level of digitalization," Talybova noted.

A number of meetings were held within the framework of the E-Commerce Consortium with the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communications of Azerbaijan, PASHA Bank, B. EST Solutions, and Azertelecom, she added.

"Now we are negotiating to establish cooperation with foreign portals similar to our trade hub. The main directions are the integration of foreign solutions and the exchange of experience. We also plan to promote our portal through the diaspora abroad and by organizing business trips to neighboring countries,” the project manager stressed.

Work on the project "Readiness Assessment for Cross-border Paperless Trade" continues under the UN Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific.

"We conduct business surveys among interested parties, collect the necessary information from government agencies, and also study current and possible problems, find ways to solve them," Masuma Talybova summed up.
