BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 20. Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan have signed a memorandum of understanding in the field of information security, Trend reports.
According to the Ministry of Digital Development of Azerbaijan, a memorandum of understanding on information security was signed between the Electronic Security Service of Azerbaijan and the State Technical Service of Kazakhstan.
The signing took place during the visit of a delegation headed by the head of the Electronic Security Service of Azerbaijan Samir Rasulov to Kazakhstan.
The Memorandum of Understanding establishes a framework for cooperation and interaction between the parties in the field of information security, especially in terms of incident response.
At the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding Samir Rasulov said that the study of best practices in combating existing cyber threats and the implementation of mutual experience and information exchange will have a significant positive impact on ensuring the information security of both countries.
During the visit, the delegation also held meetings with representatives of the National Computer Incident Response Center of Kazakhstan (KZ-CERT) and leading companies in the field of information security in Kazakhstan.
