BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 27. EU countries shipped 15,918 smartphones worth 13.89 million euros to Azerbaijan from January through February 2024, a source in the European Statistical Office (Eurostat) told Trend.
The Czech Republic was the leading exporter during the reporting
period, with 5,281 smartphones valued at 4.6 million euros.
Eurostat figures reveal that in 2023, EU countries exported 366,287
cellphones worth more than 291.5 million euros.
In 2022, EU countries supplied 75,020 cellphones to Azerbaijan,
totaling 53.9 million euros.
Eurostat develops European statistics in collaboration with the National Statistical Institutes and other national authorities in EU Member States. This collaboration is known as the European Statistical System (ESS). It also covers statistical authorities from the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland.
