The National Board on TV-Radio Broadcasting accepts applications till 28 October on issuing licenses to the TV-Radio companies for broadcasting. The process of license issuing started in August, the Board told Trend.
The above-mentioned issues will be discussed also at the next meeting of the structure on 15 September, the Board underlined.
The license period of the private channels ANS, Space and Lider expires in October. Thus, the channels are to apply for the new license to the Board.
Apart from this, by the Board decision a new license on broadcasting was issued recently to the Closed Joint Stock Company (CJSC) “The Azerbaijan TV-Radio Broadcasting” (AzTV), the Public TV-Radio Company (PTV), Radio Broadcasting Company “Burc FM” Ltd., extention of the license period to the TV-Radio Company “Kyapaz”, broadcasting in Gynja and for establishing the cabel network of TV “DIGIKOM” and AC Telecom.
Along with this, a license for the satellite TV broadcasting, the Radio programs of foreign channels is given to the Faraon-1 company.
