As many as 10,123 Turkish trucks transported cargo from Turkey to Greece from January through June 2020, which is 12 percent less compared to the same period of 2019, Trend reports referring to Turkey’s International Freight Forwarders Association (UND).
"Greece accounted for 1.81 percent of the total volume of cargo trucking operations from Turkey furing the first half of this year," the association said.
According to the UND, 2,039 Turkish trucks transported the cargo from Turkey to Greece in June 2020, which is 3 percent more compared to June 2019.
In total, 558,903 Turkish trucks transported the cargo abroad from January through June 2020, an annual decrease of 8 percent.
In June 2020, 99,165 Turkish trucks transported the cargo abroad, which is 6 percent more compared to June 2019.
