The volume of cargo loaded and unloaded in the Bushehr port of the Bushehr Province (southern Iran) decreased by 5.13 percent in the 10th month of the current Iranian year (December 22, 2021, through January 20, 2022), compared to the 9th month (November 22 through December 21, 2021), Trend reports via the statistics of Iranian Ports and Maritime Organization (PMO).
According to the statistics, about 373,000 tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in this port over the reporting month. Of this, 210,000 tons were loaded and 163,000 tons were unloaded.
During the 10th month, 208,000 tons of cargo were exported and 55,000 tons were imported through the Bushehr port.
In addition, 2,210 tons of cargo were unloaded in the port for transit, as well as 108,000 tons were unloaded for cabotage in the 10th month.
Also, 382 tons of cargo were loaded and 328 tons were unloaded in the port for other purposes.
According to the statistics, 8,210 tons of essential products, 536 tons of metal products, 178,000 tons of construction and mining materials, 4,070 tons of equipment, vehicles and spare parts were loaded and unloaded in the Bushehr port in the 10th month of the current Iranian year.
Moreover, 1,440 tons of leather goods, clothing, fibers, paper and wood materials, 43,000 tons of container products, 138,000 tons of crude oil and oil products were loaded and unloaded in this port within the mentioned period.
About 17.9 million tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in Iranian ports in the 10th month of the current Iranian year. Of this, 11.9 million tons were loaded and 6.03 million tons were unloaded. This is an increase of 42 percent, compared to the same month last Iranian year.
