Load/unload operations at Iran’s Dayyer port surge

BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 3. The volume of cargo loaded and unloaded at the Dayyer port of Iran’s Bushehr Province in the south of the country, increased by 5.36 percent over the last Iranian year (March 21, 2022 through March 20, 2023), compared to the preceding Iranian year (March 21, 2021 through March 20, 2022), Trend reports via the statistics of Iranian Ports and Maritime Organization (PMO).

More than 388,000 tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded at the Dayyer port in the last Iranian year.

Of the mentioned volume, over 298,000 tons were loaded and 90,000 tons were unloaded.

Also, 297,000 tons of cargo were exported and 2,590 tons were imported through the Dayyer port during the reporting period.

At the same time, 40 tons of cargo were unloaded at the port for transit, as well as 1,460 tons were loaded and 87,100 tons were unloaded for other purposes.

Some 34,800 tons of essential products, 432 tons of metal products, 2,980 tons of equipment, vehicles and spare parts, 391 tons of leather, clothing, fibers, paper and wood materials, about 116,000 tons of small and assorted goods and about 234,000 tons of container products were loaded and unloaded at Iran’s Dayyer port for the last Iranian year.

Overall, approximately 152 million tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded at Iranian ports over the last Iranian year. Of that, about 80 million tons were loaded and 71.7 million tons were unloaded. This is an increase of 1.7 percent compared to the preceding Iranian year.
