Kazakhstan, Astana / Trend corr. K.Konirova / The President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, sent his congratulations to Dmitri Medvedev due to his victory in the presidential elections in the Russian Federation.
"Voting for your
candidature the Russian population made the choice of continuing wise policy
directed in the efficient implementation of the potential of the country. I am
confident that you resting on the support of Russians, make the effort, use
force and experience for further economic increase, social welfare, political
stability and strengthen the international authority of the Russian Federation," states the official web site of the Kazakh President.
Nazarbayev noted that Kazakhstan was and remains a reliable friend and strategic partner of Russia. He is sure that Medvedev as the new President of Russia will serve in strengthening relations between the countries.
The Kazakh President wished Medvedev health, peace and prosperity to the Russian population.
