An explosion took place in a private house in Tau village, Karasai district of Kazakh Almaty region at 3:30 a.m, July 11, Kazinform reported.
The explosion caused fire spreading across an area of 100 square meters. Following fire extinguishing, seven burnt corpses were found at the scene. The corpses will be identified by expertise.
According to Almaty region's Prosecutor Office, an emergency investigation team is working at the scene. According to one version, a fire could be provoked by explosion of unknown substance.
A criminal case has been filed on the incident. The investigation is underway.
