Kazakh people's applications for shares of People's IPO program's pioneer KazTransOil hit 55 billion tenge ($365.52 million), twitter account of the People's IPO program said on Thursday.
The deadline for submitting bids for shares of KazTransOil was Dec.5, 07:00 p.m.
Value of one ordinary KazTransOil share during the initial offering on the organized securities market was previously set at 725 tenge (150.47 tenge = $1) per share.
The People's IPO allows the Kazakh citizens to become co-owners of the major national companies. The program envisages a phased placement of the shares of the biggest and stable state companies on the stock market in 2012-2015. KEGOC, Air Astana, KazTransGas, Samruk-Energy, Kaztransmorflot will offer its shares within People's IPO in 2013, Kazahtan Temir Zholy (Kazakh railway), Kaztemirtrans - in 2014, Kazatomprom and KazMunaiGas - in 2015.
KazTransOil is a largest oil pipeline company of Kazakhstan, which provides services on oil transportation on the domestic market and for export.
