Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov will pay an official visit to Kazakhstan on September 11-12, Spokesman for the Central Communication Service for Kazakh President Altay Abibullayev announced on Monday at a media briefing.
Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev is expected to receive the Russian Minister. Discussions will take place over integration issues with his Kazakh counterpart Erlan Idrissov.
"Special attention will be paid to interregional and cross border cooperation, interaction in the fuel, energy and space areas, as well as collaboration within the CIS, EurAsEC, CU, Single Economic Space, CSTO, SCO, CICA and UN," Abibullayev said.
The two foreign ministers are expected to discuss a wide range of issues in political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres as well as the topical issues of the international agenda.
