The real value of Kazakhstan's national currency, tenge, weakened by 29.9 percent during 2015 and by 25.6 percent from 2014 to 2015, the National Bank of Kazakhstan has said.

The tenge's real value weakened against the US dollar by 36.5 percent during 2015 and by 42.6 percent from 2014 to 2015.

The Kazakh currency also weakened against the euro in real value terms by 27.7 percent during 2015 and by 26.7 percent from 2014 to 2015.

The tenge also weakened against the Chinese yuan by 34.4 percent during 2015 and 40 percent from 2014 to 2015.
