The Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan, together with akimats of the country's regions, is developing a predicted structure of sown areas and controls the preparation for spring fieldwork in 2021, Trend reports citing Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Agriculture.
According to the local executive authorities, by January 25, 2020, 2.4 million tons of seeds were filled in Kazakhstan, including almost 2 million tons of grain seeds, 80,000 tons of oilseeds, 22,200 - fodder, 331,700 - potatoes.
Thus, the level of seed preparation has already exceeded 98 percent.
The regional akimats declared about 382,000 tons of diesel fuel for the sowing campaign in 2021. Currently, together with the Ministry of Energy, a draft schedule for assigning regions to refineries and issues of determining the price of diesel fuel is being worked out.
Moreover, the collection and analysis of up-to-date quantitative and qualitative information on the composition and condition of the agricultural machinery fleet are being carried out now.
