BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 9. Kazakhstan plans to start exporting meat to Saudi Arabia,Trend reports via the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
As a result of active bilateral cooperation between the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Food and Drug Authority of Saudi Arabia, five Kazakh meat processing enterprises are included in the register of enterprises entitled to export lamb and beef to Saudi Arabia.
The mentioned enterprises are Altyn Kazyk LLP, Aktobe Meat Cluster LLP, Empire Food LLP, Meat Processing and Service LLP, Kublei LLP.
Previously, from September 6 to September 14, 2021, these five Kazakh meat processing enterprises were inspected by specialists from the Saudi Arabian Veterinary Service.
