BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 12. The value of trade turnover between Kazakhstan and China amounted to $11.26 billion in the first half of 2022, which is an increase of 36.2 percent compared to the same period last year, Trend reports via the Kazakh Ministry of National Economy.
During this period Kazakh exports to China reached $6.63 billion, while imports of Chinese goods - $4.63 billion.
The growth of Kazakh exports to China is due to an increase in oil supplies by 3.8 times to $1.6 billion, while the rest of exports grew by only 10.5 percent.
The growth in value of imports is explained by a sharp increase in the supply of Chinese machinery and equipment, computers and other high-tech products to Kazakhstan.
