BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 15. The volume of production in Kazakhstan’s mining industry has decreased, said the Minister of National Economy of Kazakhstan, Alibek Kuantirov, Trend reports citing the ministry.
"In the mining industry, the volume of production has decreased by 1 percent. In the context of industries, a 17.8 percent increase is observed in the provision of services in the mining industry; a 1.6 percent increase in coal mining; and a 0.6 percent increase in the extraction of metal ores," Kuantirov said during the board meeting.
Furthermore, a 1.5 percent decrease in natural gas production, a 2.5 percent decrease in oil production, and a 9.9 percent decrease in other mineral mining have been reported.
Kuantirov previously stated that economic indicators rose by 2.5 percent in 2022. The increase in the real sector was 2.8 percent, and the increase in the service industry was 1.6 percent.
