BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 18. Kazakhstan increased fruit and vegetable juice production by 7.2 percent from January through November 2022, year-on-year terms, Trend reports, citing Kazakh media.
The total output in 11M2022 reached 65.4 million liters.
The largest output was recorded in Almaty region, which produced 27.9 million liters. Almaty came second with an output of 4.7 million liters. Turkestan region produced 1.3 million liters, which made it the third-largest producer in the country.
Orange juice was the top-produced juice flavor in Kazakhstan. Around 26.9 million liters were produced, which is an increase of 3.5 percent, followed by apple and pineapple flavors (14.7 million and 1.8 million liters respectively).
Despite the increase in 11M2022, Kazakhstan has dramatically reduced juice production in the previous years. As a result, Kazakhstan’s current output is still considerably lower compared to a decade before.
Currently, juice production is 2.6 times less than ten years before, while vegetable juice output reduced by 80 percent.
