BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 2. Kazakhstan’s “Karatau” LLP launched a tender for the provision of cargo insurance services.
The total cost of the lot is 30 million Kazakh tenge (nearly $65,860).
Those wishing to participate in the tender should submit the required documents until February 14, 2023.
The Customer's requires the minimum financial rating of a potential insurance company to be at least 6 notches from the sovereign rating of the Republic of Kazakhstan, but not lower than “B” on the Standard & Poor’s scale, or a similar rating of Fitch, Moody’s, or A.M. Best.
“Karatau” LLP also lists reinsurance as a mandatory requirement.
The insurance amount is set at 154.17 billion Kazakh tenge ($338.35 million) for 20 cargo shipments
