BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 6. Masdar is going to build wind power plants in Kazakhstan's Zhambyl region, Trend reports.
This was stated during a meeting between Ambassador of Kazakhstan to UAE Madiyar Menilbekov and Chief Executive Officer of Masdar, Mohamed Jameel Al Ramahi in Abu Dhabi.
During the negotiations, the parties confirmed their commitment to the project. It was noted that Masdar will sign a roadmap for its implementation with the Kazakh government during the upcoming Astana International Forum on June 8-9.
Masdar, founded in 2006, is a renowned global leader in the field of renewable energy and sustainable development. Their involvement in constructing wind power plants in Kazakhstan signifies a significant step towards promoting clean and sustainable energy sources in the region.
Meanwhile, in line with global endeavors to combat climate change and foster a sustainable future, Kazakhstan has set an ambitious goal to reach carbon neutrality by 2060.
