BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 27. Social-entrepreneurial corporations of Kazakhstan, rice processing enterprises and entrepreneurs of the country signed contracts and memoranda worth about 3 billion Kazakh tenge ($6.6 million), Trend reports.
According to the official source of Kazakhstan, these contracts and memoranda were signed at an event dedicated to the rice industry.
These documents were signed for the purpose of purchasing over 7,600 tons of food products
In particular, only the Socio-entrepreneurial corporations of Astana, Almaty, and Almaty region purchased 1,000 tons of rice each from producers from the Kyzylorda region.
At the event, 35 rice processing enterprises and 2 salt-producing company of the Kyzylorda region presented their products at prices 20 percent below market prices. Entrepreneurs of the Aktobe, Zhambyl, and Pavlodar regions also exhibited their socially significant goods.
