ASTANA, Kazakhstan, September 6. Kazakhstan plans to increase the country's GDP to $475 billion by 2028, Trend reports.

This was stated at a meeting of the government of Kazakhstan, where a draft National Action Plan for the implementation of Kassym-Jomart Tokayev's message to the people was considered.

As was said at the meeting, the implementation of this goal, in particular, will be facilitated by positive dynamics in the manufacturing industry and the agro-industrial complex through the implementation of investment projects.

In 2022, Kazakhstan's GDP, according to final data, grew by 3.3 percent. Last year, Kazakhstan's GDP amounted to $225 billion.

A record amount of foreign direct investment totaling $28 billion was attracted to Kazakhstan in 2022.
