Silk Road Electronics plant in Kazakhstan aims to boost production by 2025

ASTANA, Kazakhstan, November 30. The production capacity of the Silk Road Electronics plant in the Karaganda region of Kazakhstan will be increased to 1.1 million products per year by 2025, Trend reports.

This was stated during the visit of the Vice Minister of National Economy of Kazakhstan Bauyrzhan Omarbekov to the territory of the plant.

The plant opened on November 24, 2023. The enterprise currently produces 7 types of products: electric water heaters, vacuum cleaners, cookers, mini-ovens, kitchen hoods, semi-automatic washing machines and televisions.

At the initial stage, about 400 residents of Saran, Shakhtinsk and Karaganda will be employed here. In the future, the number of employees is planned to be increased to 1200.

All the goods at the plant are manufactured under the 'Artel' brand.

Artel is an Uzbek manufacturer of home appliances and electronics. At the same time, the company is a partner of Shivaki, Avalon, Vesta and Royal, and is also the official regional partner of Samsung and Viessmann in Uzbekistan.

Artel, which began operations in 2011, is currently the largest manufacturer of home appliances in Central Asia.
