ASTANA, Kazakhstan, December 1. The volume of trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan in 2022 amounted to $598.4 million, Trend reports.
According to data from the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan, compared to 2012, this figure has increased by 52 percent. Then, trade turnover amounted to $393.4 million.
At the same time, trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan in 2022 has increased compared to 2021 ($136 million). The growth was 52 percent. Thus, the volume of trade turnover increased 4.4 times.
In addition, the total trade turnover between the countries from 2012 through 2022 amounted to $2.74 billion.
Furthermore, Azerbaijan's total trade turnover in 2022 amounted to $52.6 billion, which is 55 percent more than in 2021 ($33.9 billion).
The volume of Azerbaijani exports amounted to $38.14 billion, and imports to Azerbaijan amounted to $14.54 billion.
Kazakhstan’s foreign trade turnover in 2022 reached a historically high level of $134.4 billion.
Export volumes amounted to $84.4 billion. Import volumes to Kazakhstan reached $50 billion for the first time, updating the 2013 record ($48.8 billion).
