ASTANA, Kazakhstan, December 11. Over 53,000 tourists from Kazakhstan visited Azerbaijan from January through November 2023, Trend reports.
As per data provided by Azerbaijan's State Tourism Agency, during this period, 53,249 Kazakh tourists visited Azerbaijan, which is 91 percent more than in the same period in 2022 (27,917).
In addition, 5,382 tourists from Kazakhstan visited Azerbaijan in November 2023, which is 117 percent more compared to the same month in 2022 (2,483).
Thus, Kazakhstan entered the top 10 countries from which the most tourists arrived in Azerbaijan in November, settling for 7th place.
According to the agency, among the Central Asian countries, Azerbaijan attracted the highest number of tourists from Kazakhstan.
Azerbaijan was visited by 121,467 tourists from Central Asian countries from January through November 2023, which is 83.16 percent higher than the figure of the same period of 2022 (66,316 people).
