ASTANA, Kazakhstan, January 24. The European Pipe Systems LLC plans to implement a project to build a plant for flexible polymer pre-insulated pipes in Kazakhstan's Mangystau region, Trend reports.
Such an intent was inked in a memorandum of cooperation between the executive power of the Mangystau region and European Pipe Systems LLC.
The initial stage of the project is slated for the territory of the Aktau Seaport special economic zone, with completion plans for the fourth quarter of 2024. The plant will have a production capacity of at least 200 km of pipe goods per year.
In addition, the corporation is considering allocating $5 million to the project at the outset.
In response to this project, the region's head, Nurlan Nogayev, expressed his strong support for its prospective realization.
"Taking into account the specifics of the technology, the plant must be put into operation within the scheduled time frame for the production of high-quality products," he said.
He also noted that the executive power of the Mangystau region, within the framework of the current legislation, is ready to provide comprehensive support to a potential investor.
