ASTANA, Kazakhstan, March 19. The volume of foreign trade turnover in Kazakhstan amounted to $10.08 billion in January 2024, Trend reports.
According to figures from the country's Bureau of National Statistics, this is 1.9 percent less than in the same period in 2023.
Exports totaled $5.9 billion (in nominal terms, 1.8 percent less than the same time in January 2023).
At the same time, imports decreased by 2.1 percent, totaling $4.18 billion.
Meanwhile, the volume of foreign trade turnover in Kazakhstan amounted to $139.8 billion from January through December 2023, which is 3.2 percent more than in 2022.
At the same time, exports totaled $78.6 billion (in nominal terms, 7 percent less than the same time in 2022), and imports grew by 20.1 percent, totaling $61.1 billion.
