Religions should worship common values: PACE Chairman

(Kazinform) Religious leaders are responsible for state of inter-faith accord in the world, they should use intensity of faith in order to provide latitude in religion, tolerance and harmony. Contemporary society without religion is like a ship without compass, Rene van der Linden, PACE Chairman, has voiced today during the second working day of the Congress of World and Traditional Religions Leaders in Astana, reports Trend.

Nowadays role and significance of religion should conform to inevitable process of world globalization, he noted.

According to him in the age of globalization all religious leaders should unite and worship values common to all mankind tolerance, spirituality and rectitude.
